What is the Heating Health Check?

This quick check is like a blood test for your heating system, diagnosing dirty water and potentially saving you money and headaches down the line.

The Science Behind It Our Heating Health Check includes the Express Inhibitor Test, which measures the level of inhibitor in your boiler. A low level of inhibitor indicates dirty water. Here’s why this matters: Fresh water without inhibitor contains high levels of oxygen, which reacts with radiators to create iron oxide, commonly known as sludge. This sludge can be detrimental to your heating system and boiler.

The problems that could occur if there is less inhibitor/more dirty water in the heating system includes:

• Boiler parts corrosion
• Corrosion of inside of radiators

What If My System Has Low Inhibitor?

If the Express Inhibitor Test reveals low levels of inhibitor, our engineer can top up your system for just £30 + VAT. This simple step can significantly enhance the longevity of your boiler, radiators, and other heating components.
