Today marks the exciting opening of the Eastside Awards, a celebration of the vibrant and hard-working community in East Belfast. This year, several categories are open for public voting through Belfast Live, including the hairdresser/barber and beauty business categories—proudly sponsored by solv.
The awards, now in their ninth year, give the local community the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the independent businesses, schools, and individuals who go above and beyond to make East Belfast a great place to live and work.
The Launch at Templemore Baths
The launch event took place on Monday at the historic Templemore Baths, a fitting venue for an occasion rooted in East Belfast’s rich heritage. The event was kicked off by Jonathan McAlpin, chairman of the Eastside Awards, attended by other members of the committee, sponsors, the judging panel and Councillor Micky Murray, the Lord Mayor of Belfast.
