Carried out and tested fully,taking the necessary readings etc.

Dear Stephen,
 
I thought I would write and advise you about a problem we had last month and how your staff came to our "hour-of-need".
 
We developed a water leak on our 20 year old oil boiler on the 20th October 2011, we contacted Mr Jim Ritchie in your office to provide us with a quote to replace the boiler.
 
We couldn't believe it when he got us an "over 65" grant of £800 from Phoenix Gas and in no time at all, we had a gas meter fitted and a new Worcester condensing gas boiler installed.  
 
I have been keeping an eye on the gas meter after Jim advising that we would be paying a lot less for gas than oil and I am pleased to say he appears to be right, thus far.
 
Please pass on our sincere thanks to all the engineers and staff from Solv involved in getting our heat up and running again with the minimum of fuss.
 
Can you please ensure that the 7 year warranty certificate for the boiler is posted out to the above address, as promised by Lauren in your office.

When I telephoned you this afternoon, just after Ian and Ryan left, I said it was amazing that while it was less than 48 hourssince you had come to the house on Sunday evening to assess our problem and consider what might be done to help us, our work had now been completed.

This result would be amazing at ordinary times, but we are right in the middle of the twelfth fortnight with the difficulties which that can create, so, very well done for an outstanding achievement.

I would like to thank you for choosing to send Ian and Ryan.  I am not sure how they achieved so much good plumbing work in such a short time, but their care on what I might call the cosmetic side, by protecting carpets as well as the rest of the house, inside and out, was first class, my wife and I would be very happy to have them back at any time.  I have thanked them, but I would be glad if you would add your own word of thanks, on my behalf.

I would like to commend SOLV group for its most efficient service before, during and after the recent installation of my new boiler. Your speedy response to  my request for a quotation led to the presentation of a clearly laid out and easily understood estimate with sufficient detail to answer all  my queries. The work was carried out confidently, carefully and with a minimum of disruption. A very minor remedial problem was attended to very quickly.

In a day and age when we all live in a competitive and an aggressive market place, were the customer is 'king' and demands on the service industry is at an all time high.
 
All too often customers pick up the telephone to complain, rarely do they feel it necessary when 'the repairer goes the extra mile' do they pick up the telephone and tell them when they get it right!
 
I feel that it is appropriate to mention an instance when complete customer satisfaction was achieved. 
 
Due to the adverse weather conditions on Monday January 4th we had a complete heating failure, I made one telephone call to the Solv Group, an engineer was dispatched in order to establish the problem, he was quickly followed up by two separate engineers to resolve two different problems within our heating system.
 
Right from the initial telephone call with your telephonist to  the engineers all of whom were informative and polite, the problems were quickly resolved with a minimum of fuss.

Dear Mr Kane,
 
I contacted your out of hours service on the 5th Nov at approximately 8.30pm and my call was dealt with by a Mr Ramsey, he telephoned me back within 10 minutes and advised that a representative from your organisation would be with me within the hour.
 
Mr Kyle Finn called at my house some 30 minutes later and had my heating boiler up and running again in a very short period of time, furthermore he arranged to have my boiler serviced the following day and this was carried out as promised.
 
I believe you will be contacting me in 12 months time to have the boiler serviced again, please find attached payment for all works to date.
 
Please pass on my comments to all the staff at Solv that were involved in the visits to my home and let them know how satisfied I was with the service. It is not until your heat goes off that you really appreciate it!!
